"All my scattering moments are taken up with my needle."
- Ellen Birdseye Wheaton (1851)
Here I hope that you will find inspiration and imagination to complete a slow stitchery course with whimsical twists and sprinkled with some magic.
I am a lover of all things antique and vintage, especially old paisley fabrics, antique quilts and pieces, carved mother-of-pearl buttons with old and some new threads.
A piece of antique quilt to slow stitch upon conjures up, for me, stories... if only the piece of fabric or quilt pieces could speak? The stories it could tell of its history and memories. I feel by repurposing it with tiny little stitches and maybe words or a quote, I am, in fact, adding to its story.
Life these days is in the fast lane. Here it is my hope, I hope you will be able to slow down and feel the tranquillity, peace and pleasure that slow stitching can bring to your life and your soul.

I live in beautiful Dorset surrounded by countryside and the River Stour. Slow stitching is my passion along with gorgeous vintage fabrics and quilts! I would love for you to join in on an online tutorial for slow stitching. It is a relaxing process.
Learn as you go along there is no real right or wrong. When you purchase a digital course you have access to it for 3 months which is more than enough time to finish a course but sometimes life gets in the way.
There will be opportunities to purchase unique products occasionally depending on how many I have been able to source.. after all it’s antique/vintage products.
